BTW: The next CGL-version will relax the "80-char-per-line" rule a bit, 
so we don't have to force this rule if its not feasible.

As the discussion to change the complete reference display is a feature 
for 4.5, this issue is still valid for 4.4 (and a tiny change for 4.3).
