To be honest I don't know if it will ever make it into the core, as 
interest is pretty low and people don't seem to see a benefit. I already 
invested quite some time into it so I'm hesitating to invest even more 
if there is probably no "output" at all...

sorry but it is kinda frustrating and who can say if this is the last 
change that needs to be done...

PS: maybe I'm kinda biased right now as I'm currently working on a 
project which requires changes after changes... not funny...
