Do you think he was unfriendly? His post was short, yes, but he used the word "please" twice and to
me the posting was at least polite.

But I agree that for a patch submitter it is not encouraging if the CGL comments are the very first
to be posted. OTOH, besides the fact that the function could be moved outside of t3lib_div, there's
not much to complain about except CGL issues.
