The following bug fix was committed as a FYI in revision 6109.

Type: Bugfix

Bugtracker references:
http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=12078

Branches:
Trunk

Problem:
On page 6 of the manual, the cronjob example configuration supposes to
use an additional "user" parameter in the crontab of root. This is wrong
as the user parameter is necessary only for system crontabs.

Solution:
Correct the manual

Notes:
Here's the corrected text:
"If you are editing system crontabs (for example /etc/crontab and
/etc/cron.d/*), there will be one additional parameter to enter, i.e.
the user with which the job should run. Example (additional user
parameter in bold):"

Cheers
