Hi,
technically this should be a followup of #8817 ... I just checked and 
there was already a similar patch but nobody took care of it.

I also doubt that you where able to reproduce it with the "pages" table 
in the way you posted it (there's a "if ($table == 'pages') return;" at 
the beginning of that function) - but nevertheless that's still relevant.

I've attached a new version of the patch - would be nice if someone 
could take care of it. Btw Olli run the same followup modifications for 
the deleteL10nOverlayRecords method (#539).
