Hi Ernesto,

i had a look to the code first and it looks good. One little:
wantsGlobalCaption sounds a bit odd to me (i want but don't get :))
I would suggest useGlobalCaption instead.

Further it would be cool if you could add a brief description of the new 
options. Sure, you described what to set in your RFC, but having the 
options by the hand we could test different settings.

Test of the patch will follow soon.
