Take a look to COA object. It has a "wrap" property and numerical objects on the same level. My proposal is consistent with this and other parts of TYPO3. "dependsOn" will introduce extra property, which will add extra array internally, which means extra parsing and extra memory. What's the point? The description of this feature will be like for a COA: numerical entries are page id values. Non–numerical can be any future properties.
