In general I would agree with you but this case is somewhat special. 
Extbase has been built to be a bridge to v5. And actually you're right, 
everything concerning Extbase is done within the extension itself.

However, I'd say we should make an exception here so that we have a 
better integration of v5 <-> extbase <-> v4
