Hi all,

after going through some tests for the caching framework with Olly and
making sure that everything still runs I committed the update for the
caching framework so that we do have it in a2.

Here're some notes:

* contrary to our usual rule of small changes/commit this was a big
commit as the risk of breaking something would otherwise have been quite
high
* the commit includes changes backported from FLOW3. The initial
backport was from around r1166 in FLOW3, the now current version
corresponds to HEAD (r1911)
* the code should now pass the tests committed through out the week
* there are quite some major changes with classes and files moved
around, also methods have been renamed. As it would be dificult to list
all the changes in detail I'd like to point you to the FLOW3 SVN for the
details in case you're interested.
* for the future we'll try to avoid these huge changes by updating the
caching framework as soon as changes are made to the FLOW3 counterpart

all the best
Ingo
