[TYPO3-core] RFC #9455: RTE incorrectly modifies external links and causes problems with subdomains

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. I tested it with a few common ways 
of creating links, and it worked.
Not all links would be stored as absolute - only if it was inserted as 
absolute.

As far as handling anchors and files - what other types are there? This 
seemed to be the only place where this substitution was taking place, 
but there may be more.
