In typo3/tests/ there are currently two testcases:
regularexpression_testcase.php
t3lib_tcemain_testcase.php

Since it's a bit confusing to find t3lib stuff in the typo3/ directory I
suggest to move these files to tests/ on the root level or to create
typo3/tests/ and t3lib/tests/.

The first one (just tests/) is a bit easier to exclude the directory in
the release packaging process.
