I agree, but I'm certainly unsure whether this should also be fixed in 
4.0 and 4.1 as these versions still support PHP4. I'd be fine with 
having 4.2 run on PHP5.3 but I'm also ok if it doesn't. I feel however, 
that trunk should definitly be able to run on PHP5.3.
