I agree.

The only change which I would allow without HCI approval is the revert
back to the original colors. That is still better than the current
colors which are pretty ugly and definitely must have been a temporary
choice.

(Whoever chose them, I'm pretty sure he did that because he wanted to
have the colors being fixed quickly, didn't he?!)
