This is a really handy improvement!
...but -1 for now because it breaks rendering of the fields in Safari4 
and IE8 (on Windows)

Namely:
in Safari the input field is too wide and gets moved below the checkbox
in IE8 only the help icon is moved to a new line. Additionally the 
baseline of the text in the input field jumps when you focus the field.
