fixed with _v3.


+1 on reading and testing, go ahead Rupert (before some other change
breaks this again ;)

I didn't really test every single change, but did some simple FE and BE
tests.

Attached version is modified to respect more CGL rules (man, what a
boring task for such a diff ^^) and fixed a failing query in Line 278 of
_v2 (double dots inserted). I read through the patch twice and was
unable to find further flaws.
