Hey Olli.

that sounds like a huge improvement (= getting a cache to actually work 
;-)). I checked the source files and yeah, the cache doesn't make sense 
at all as it is right now. We could even commit this one to 4.1, as this 
is something I'd call "urgent" or "necessary".

I'd be interesting to see how it really affects the page rendering in 
terms of speed!
