no, it's a bit like grouping

the main config
   * TYPO3_CONF_VARS
the tables
   * TCA
   * TCA_DESCR
extensions
   * normal extensions
   * services
   * BE modules + extensions
styles
   * TBE_STYLES
server
   * _SERVER
user
   * BE_USER

if you have a better idea, i'm open for.
