Hi Julian.

i like the idea to "writeprotect" records and you get my +1 if you fix 
following points:

1) function undeleteRecord misses spaces (please look to the others, 
found one too)
2) function canUndeleteRecord returns a string that is used for log, but 
no TRUE. You also call this function 2 times (one in the log)
