[TYPO3-core] FYI: Fixed bug #7886: JS error raised in htmlArea RTE in IE5.5 when setting inline markup or text style

FYI: The attached SVN patch was committed.

Problem:
normalize() method was not available in IE5.5

Solution:
Catch the errors in IE.

Note:
While the RTE will not be used in IE5.5 in the backend of TYPO3 4.2, it 
may still be used in old browsers in the frontend.
