Is that really worth the effort? Why not just commit the same patch as 
for trunk? Is it really such a problem improving the usability of this 
little module for the 4.2 branch too? I agree that large changes should 
be reserved for 4.3, but since it's already there, I really see no harm 
in applying it to 4.2. too.
