Hi,

i would use a new BT/RFC for that,
and my +1 for this one.

i read my mentioned article and thought that "not implementing" 
getElementsByClassName before was the origin problem.

Indeed prototype declared getElementsByClassName as deprecated, os it should 
be replaced anyway.
