Hey Masi and Ralf,

+1 for the general idea. Maybe we can even have a Installation-wide 
option to have +GMT used in all stdWrap / strftime things.

@Masi: Is Ralf's reasoning ok for having a stdWrap there?

@Ralf: We'd also need to update the documentation once this feature goes 
in the core (TSref).
