That never happens here. The only slight annoyance is that you have to 
switch out-of and then into the folder/newsgroup again to get an updated 
sorting order after new messages were downloaded. But then it's all 
stable and always using the right sort order (you must not click on any 
column headers, because that obviously resets the sorting settings! But 
that should be obvious anyway).
