Follow-up on this discussion in general:

Folks, discussions like this should definitely not happen on this list! The
traffic on the core list has increased enormeously and it's currently the
list with the highest traffic of all. It's really getting hard to follow
all of it, especially the on-topic discussions (I still try to).
Please think twice before starting off-topic discussions here, move them to
more appropriate places instead. Thank you!

@Dmitry, because you asked for it: I read your comments and understand your
concerns. I also think that there are issues which are done slightly worse
than they were in older versions (e.g the additional mouse click which is
needed when clearing the cache).

I was not involved in any of the HCI-related changes, so I cannot argue
about how good or bad the inputs of the HCI team have been treated.
However, and that's important: Most of these issues can solved more or less
easily.

I will talk to Ingo and Jens to see if there's any need for more
adjustments, e.g. requiring the HCI approval for every change that touches
the interface.

Any follow-up goes to HCI list (please!!)

Cheers, michael
