I think you misunderstood me in our last private talk. 4.1 must get in
critical fixes, but of course anyone is free to fix any problems if he
wants to. It's only more work to patch three instead of one or two
branches. Sometimes it's even more work because patches for new branches
don't apply clean to older branches. So feel free to fix the issue in
4.1 if you want to.
