[TYPO3-core] RFC: #9167: Feature: Mark extension as write protected

Looking an ext_emconf.php, there's an existing parameter called 
"lockType". What is it's role? Wasn't it meant to be what has now been 
called write_protected?

I'm asking because I remember Michael Stucki mentioning that such a 
parameter already existed, but was not used. If this is the case it is 
perhaps not too late to change the parameter. Or to remove it form being 
written by the Extension Kickstarter.
