No, we cannot do this. The official term for this technology is "minification". I posted reply to Masi about it yesterday but I do not see my message on the news server (server told be something about "load 22" while posting, may be it dropped the message). Anyway, I could recover my older message with links in Sent folder. Here are links that confirm this term:

The term should stay as is. We should not invent a new name for existing technology.
