I just stumbled over this one and like to send a REMINDER.

+1 for adding a @ to the function call (based on reading an testing
Martins first patch) to both 4_1 and trunk

I didn't test the bug_5985_etc.diff, but the changes look obvious
(inkluding Martins remark), so I would give a +1 based on reading (for
trunk), too.
