[TYPO3-core] FYI: checking use of md5_file() in EM for PHP 4.1

I was first thinking why you posted that patch right before you write that
you removed all checks for PHP < 4.3. But now I noticed that this patch
here is for TYPO3 4.0, which seems to make sense.
