In trunk I have removed all checks for PHP versions earlier than 4.3 
(including index_ts.php). While doing so I have change freads in 
class.t3lib_svbase.php, class.t3lib_tstemplate.php and thumbs.php to 
file_get_contents() and fpassthru().
