What about Masi's suggestion to commit it to the 4.1 branch too 
(actually he was also suggestion the 4.0 branch)? Actually I first made 
this patch for a 4.1.3 install, so it should apply flawlessly. And it 
would fit nicely into 4.1.4 :-)
