For me it would be enough to add access to "sys_" tables (in my case sys_domain)
but I think during time somebody else comes up and asks why not all tables are
allowed ....

I tought over it again and came to the conclusion that "uid/pid" fields are somehow
a requirement for "CONTENT" to work ... so pherhaps this could be a reason for only
allowing T3-style tables ... but as I mentioned "sys_" tables also count as those.

I had to do (tried) the following:

I had to output a menu of all available domains on the site. I did this by selecting
the root-level pages (this is also quite hard - cause you can't say .pidInList = 0 ...
but that's another story) and selected the first "sys_domain" record from them and
used its "domainName" field to genereate a typolink.

greets,
Bernhard
