I don't no a thing about SVN, so I cannot comment. I hope your plan is good 
and I even more hope that I don't destroy anything with my first commit.

Yes please. This thing really should go out anytime soon (pending patches 
or not). I don't want to risk an outague due SF migration delay or simply 
ack of knowledge about SVN on my part.
