There is not much to fix. I'd use "HTTP/1.1" instead of "HTTP/1.0" in the GET command because of the additional Host: header (which has been introduced in HTTP 1.1). That's all.

The rest is fine.

Note I think we don't write curly bracktes in a one-line if (the "break").
