If I am not mistaking the patch misses phpdoc-like comments for
method-signature in the exmaple-update-class. Please add these because I
don't know what parameters we are talking about for the newly introduced
methods.

Other than that: Sounds reasonable to me but didn't have time to check
any more deeply. Very busy approx. till end of january.

Could you maybe supply soem doc/example so I can run trough a simple
manual test? Or would the patch allow this already?
