[TYPO3-team-core-v5] State of TypoScript / content rendering in master

Hi folks,

I'm just sitting in an overcrowded train (not the one I planned to catch, but that's another story) and testing the hot potatoes patches on different applications. The current master for the Québec site doesn't work for me, but that is probably old news to you involved. In particular, the main menu and breadcrumb menu doesn't render (get some exception that getNode() didn't get a node) and the shortcut page (front page) doesn't work.

Question is: can you (Sebastian ?) try to get this working ASAP? I'd feel much better if we had a state in the Phoenix master which allows us to deploy a new version of one of the websites we're maintaining at any time.

So, I'll skip testing with the Quebec site for now and do a final check with flow3.typo3.org, which obviously should work. And if it does, we're finally close to submitting (a first working version of) the hot potatoes.
