TYPO3 Phoenix Scrum Meeting Notes - 30.11.2010 11:30h

[ROBERT]

✔ Did profiling to figure out bottlenecks in FLOW3. Most time in the initialization phase is spent by unserializing cached data (mostly by the ReflectionService). The next slowest operations are Persistence and Fluid (template parsing, regex etc.)
✔ Optimized the Reflection Service (see https://review.typo3.org/#change,394 ). Now needs to load 1/3 less reflection data and initialization in Production context is speed up immensively (packages are not scanned for class files anymore). Needs thorough testing though to check if anything else breaks.
☠ Profiling on my MacBook Pro is a bit unreliable due to CPU scaling / speedstep. Need to figure out how to set up an environment which delivers more comparable results.
➜ Continue with #11156 (technical concept for creating content elements)

[KARSTEN]

✔ Reviewed a bunch of changes in gerrit
✔ Updated PHPUnit on Hudson machine (just to make sure)
✔ Quick research about cpu throttling effects on xdebug profiling, only result for Mac i5/i7 seems to be
    http://code.google.com/p/xnu-speedstep/
✔ Chatted with Benjamin Eberlei for 2.5 hours yesterday about Doctrine2 integration and his prototype
➜ Look at Doctrine2 prototype in detail and see how far I can make it work already
➜ Probably more reviews during the day
