Hi folks,
just a quick note from this side of the Atlantic ...
As you know, Karsten, Jens and I arrived yesterday here in Dallas. It's 6:00 am right now and everybody's still sleeping.
I don't think that we'll be able to participate in an online meeting at 15:00 CET because the WiFi here is probably not reliable enough. Later this day we'll surely be at the Mosaic Cafe at the IBC - but that won't be before 17:00 CET.
As for the current sprint release: I think we will just even be able to release today (Dallas day) because there's still some work to do on the code. Reasons for this are
1) the sprint was quite short (for Karsten and me)
2) the first step is always a big one
3) we couldn't spend as much time as we wanted do to other events (TYPO3 Association meeting, system crash etc.)
4) contributions required more review and rework than we thought
5) a lot of experimentation was necessary to prove the TypoScript rendering concept - it now works, but test coverage is low
Anyway, I'm positive that the result of this sprint can be released today and that it's a very nice outcome. But I personally can't plan think of the next sprint's tasks today already. I also have a big pile of things to prepare for this week's T3CON so I'm probably not as focused as you want me to.
So, let me fix the remaining code (there are some issue with the 404 handling and additional tests to be written) and then hopefully see you online later today. Just ping me when you see me online.
Cheers,
robert
