[TYPO3-team-core-v5] Make use of PHP 5.3 features!

I am using ubuntu at the moment too and no, there isn't any package yet 
(at least i havent seen any). the problem is, that it would interfere 
with the installed php if you don't uninstall it.

I compiled apache and php completely by myself (without any options it 
will be installed in /usr/local/apache2 and /usr/local/lib/php) and left 
the installed apache / php where it is.

There are also tutorials to get an debian-style (ubuntu is based on 
debian) package with the use of checkinstall. Just google a bit around.

If you have any question feel free to ask. And tell me if you experience 
the same problem like me (see the other t3 v5 mailing list).
