[TYPO3-commerce] commerce pi1 content element with TYPO3 4.4 broken (with patch)

good catch, the category tree does not work if TYPO3 is installed in a 
subdirectory. However, this is not caused by the patch but doesn't work 
whether the patch is applied or not.

I tried to fix that but after more than an hour it shaped up as a
bottomless pit and I do not feel willing to fix this. There are many 
definitions of BACK_PATH in multiple files and in different incarnations.
I will open a bug and wait for someone else to fix this.

I attached a patch that shows my attempts, in the hope that it might 
help the one who sees fixing this as his vocation. That patch fixes the 
category tree in pi1 while breaking  the tree in Mod>Category.

To make a long story short, I still give my +1 for Christians patch as 
it fixes the 4.4 issue and doesn't break anything that isn't broken yet.
