This list is only for bugtracker related things (such as closing bug 
reports, moving them to a different tracker, etc.).

For support questions you can use lists such as typo3.english, 
typo3.german, various user group lists, etc.

And regarding your question, there is a nice TS example for a language 
menu in the Frontend Localization Guide [1]
