sure. First of all I'd like to say that this wasn't meant as an offence 
at all.

Franz as a core developer should be able to reopen bugs himself AFAIK. 
The other thing is that this issue was in fact fixed and IMO if that fix 
causes a new issue it requires a new report. Especially as only Franz 
has problems with it, but even then - as a core developer - he should be 
able to get down to the problem himself...
