[TYPO3-bugs] IPv6 related issue

Hi!

I'd like to point you to following bug report:

The problem is that comparing IPv6-addresses is not working for recent
TYPO3-Core 4.0.6 and 4.1.1.

As we need this to provide automatic login for users within our
IPv6-subnet, I patched class.t3lib_div.php for Core 4.0.6.

To get also Core 4.1 working, functions cmpIPv6() and IPv6Hex2Bin() from
Core 4.1 can be replaced by the ones from Core 4.0 patched by my
provided patch.


My questions:
- Could someone please have a look on this?
- Will the patch make it into an upcoming 4.0.7 ?
- Should I also provide a patch for Core 4.1 ?
