I don't think that this is possible, and I also don't think that it's good
idea at all!

If you assign a bug to you, this should mean that you will work on it in the
next - say - 4 weeks. Otherwise, people get the impression that someone is
working on it although this is not the case really.

PS: I know that myself is the worst example for this exactly! I did assign
so many bugs in the past that I have a list of ~40 bugs which are assigned
to me right now. Too bad...
