Hi Robert, (and by the way thanks a lot for the offer. I was so stunned 
by it I actually forgot to answer. I've never earned money with TYPO3 
except from my uni institute),

It would be easier if we could use the vacation tool directly on the 
typo3.org mx, but autoreplying on the listserver should be possible if 
you filter mails directed to bugs at typo3.org either directly in the mta 
or with procmail, don't know if this is possible in mailman.

But now that you mention it: Do we have a proper mail server with full 
admin privileges? Do we need one?
