[Typo3-bugs] Some ideas for bug fixing guidelines

Right, I'll try to do that as good as possible.

Well, actually I assigned some bugs to myself which I am willing to fix but
not now. So I just used that function as a reminder for me... :-)
(Are there any other ways for this in Mantis? I would love to see a feature
for selecting all bugs I have monitored...)

I sometimes used the dev list for that. But I agree with you that
discussions are better on a mailing list (not specifically this one here).

>From a users view, you are right. It's probably easier for us to port the
patch to the next version as for a user in the other way.
But do they really need those patches?

However it should not be writable for anyone I guess. Robert, how is timtaw
doing? I remember you saying that it's ready in two weeks (after
Kitzbühel...) ;-))
