Hi folks,

this weird e-mail reached me. Maybe it's just personalized spam, I don't know.
But maybe it's worth looking at what "RFC2350 compliant security incicdent
response team" means?

Subject: Type03 Security team

I've been developing a free RFC2350 compliant security incident response
team at www.securityhive.com <http://www.securityhive.com/>  and would like
to offer it to your users.  Specifically, I'd like to help users with "My
sites just been 'hacked', what should I do?" and respond to suspected and
actual security incidents by containing, eliminating and recovering from
potential damage.

There are other free services I'd like to eventually offer to help users
improve the security of their systems running open source software.  My
initial plan is to work with some CMS projects and development teams.

Are you interested in helping to improve the security of systems running
your software?  I'd like to offer my security skills and experiences work
together, possibly you could refer or recommend users contact
www.securityhive.com <http://www.securityhive.com/>  if they suspect their
system has been attacked.

Who could I contact to discuss in more detail?  How can we proceed?

Regards,

Brian Erdelyi
