[TYPO3-workflow] Merge of workspace and workflow?

ok, let me define a request:
In Workflow you are able to create a "task" (equals more or less to a 
page in Workspaces). You can assign comments on that task (and not only 
if you want to send it to review), and you can pass a task in Workflow 
around. That means if you don't have time to finish a task, you can say 
"hey user X, please do my task" The user then has a list of his tasks.

Ok. What i would like to see in
Workspace is the following:
A nice overview over tasks - maybe in the taskcenter.
A possibility to create a task - which could be "create a new page" or 
"create a task>Do this, do that" (maybe: "create an image and place it 
on...")
Ok. The user who created the task should be able to assign this task to 
himself or to other people, or just place it in a big list. The other 
users should be able to get a task (if they want to do it) or deny to do 
a task if an other user wanted him to do it.

This taskmodule could check the availabiliy of the user the task was 
assigned to. If the user says "i don't want to do a task now", it should 
  recognise that and deny all non-important users to assign tasks to 
that person. (this could be done with ext "calendar base" maybe..)

You know, some of these wishes are present in workflow. The problem is, 
that workflow does not seem to be very compatible with workspaces (if i 
read the docs)

Both have the same user and usergroup stages, but a completly different 
rightsmanagement. While workspace says "grant everything in the 
accessmodule", workflow says "grant nothing"

You see the problem?
