[TYPO3-workflow] Workflow configuration problems

Hello,

I have problems configuring work flows. I have installed the latest
versions of sys_todos and sys_workflows

Created the groups and users according to the work flow documentation
(one base group with db mount point etc. + one group for each of the
roles in the workflow), and set the permissions in the page tree so that
all involved users have read access to the pages.

But when I log in as one of the users that should be able to initiate
work flows I don't get the work flow symbol in the pop up menu when I
click on a page in the page tree.

As admin user I'm able to initiate the work flow and the other assigned
users are able to their tasks in the work flow.

What could be wrong? Any hints or ideas?
