[TYPO3-workflow] sys-workflow userrights

I am reposting a question from the general mailinglist.

I'm experiencing some problems with the workflow userrights. I have
installed both the todos and workflow extensions. I have imported the
included basic setup from the t3d-file. I have set the group-access of
the generated page tree to the Editors group, with only the "Show page"
rights.

However the creator user is not able to start a workflow. The relevant
item does not show up in the pop-up menu.
If I add the admin user to the workflow roles, I am able to perform all
roles as admin.

I think there's something wrong with the userrights, someone suggested
to add the Editors group to the initiator role in the workflow, I have
not been able to test this.

Anyone any suggestions?
